In the Yukon you'll find some of Canada's best fishing for lake trout, northern pike, Arctic grayling, rainbow trout and Arctic char. Join us for an ice fishing adventure on one of the beautiful lakes in the Whitehorse area. Depending on conditions, our guide will choose the ideal lake for your ice fishing experience. We will pick you up at your hotel and depart for our tour. After a short drive, we leave our vehicle parked by the lake shore and walk the short distance to our first spot. With the help of an ice-auger, we will drill a hole in the ice. The ice on a lake can be from 30 cm to 1 m thick! Hot drinks will be available to keep us toasty. Take a look around and enjoy the beauty of a winter’s day while waiting for the big catch!
If we are lucky and catch a nice trout your guide will fillet it and cook it on the fire. At the end of our day we return to Whitehorse with a record catch of great memories.

... I visited Whitehorse in March to see The Northern Lights. Thanks again for an incredible time.

John Sanger

The lights were incredible! Thank you for a memorable visit to Whitehorse!

Cindy DeCarlo

We enjoyed our Aurora viewing so much tonight that we’d like to go again.

Elise Shannon

Very well organised and excellent photo opportunities and advice.

Phill P.

I flew to Whitehorse only for 1 night in the hope to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). It was a risk as they don't come out every night, but it paid off. At approx 3am the lights came out and it was spectacular.

Leese D

The trip to Whitehorse we booked with Arctic Range was truly amazing. I can't thank them enough for an absolute great experience.

Robert Traufre

Aurora viewing was spectacular, there really aren't enough words to describe it. Guides are super friendly and tour groups are small, which is great.

Gabriela

On Friday I went snow shoeing around Miles Canyon. It was very nice to see the Yukon river under the snow.

Dave Ellemberg

Very well organised tour which was absolutely amazing.

Suzanne G

Our primary purpose for this tour was to see Aurora. The activity of Aurora was strong at that time (end of August), ....

Alma B

The location was absolutely beautiful and they had a very cozy warming hut. The young lady that was our guide was very helpful.

Laura U

We went on your northern lights tour last night and had an amazing time!

Natalie Mander

The organization of this trip was exceptional, not only were the activities well planned so you got an experience of everything but there no hassles or worries about anything.

Ash B

I am thinking of paddling the river with a canoe in August and September. I fell in love with Whitehorse.
