Fulfill your dreams at the beautifully situated lodge in Yukon’s Winter Wonderland. Situated right on a calm side arm of Tagish Lake and amidst the boreal forest, the Southern Lakes Resort is an excellent getaway in style and comfort. You will spend three nights in luxurious cabins at the Southern Lake Resort. A beautiful setting with private & cozy log cabins which lets you enjoy the beauty of Yukon’s winter backcountry. Traditional log cabins with a modern touch – you’ll feel right at home in your spacious cabin. Not to mention the view – ah, the view! How amazing would it be, to hop on the dogsled right in front of your cabin? Well, it's actually true - mushers live right next door and their happy and well-trained dogs can't wait to take you on a tour during an optional day tour from the lodge! Other winter activities such as snowshoeing and snowmobiling are available at your choice.

  • I flew to Whitehorse only for 1 night in the hope to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). It was a risk as they don't come out every night, but it paid off. At approx 3am the lights came out and it was spectacular.
