One of the most sought-after Northern experiences on snowmobile, a Yukon winter vacation is only complete with viewing the aurora borealis cascading across the Yukon night sky.

We set out on an adventure of a lifetime during our fully guided Aurora Snowmobile Excursion. Enjoy approximately 1 hour 15 minutes of snowmobile driving along snowy trails, guided by a professional snowmobiling guide who provides clear safety instructions. You will drive your own snowmobile on backcountry trails starting from our exclusive AuroraCentre. At a remote location, in absolute solitude, we enjoy a campfire under the open sky while waiting for the breathtaking Northern Lights.
Once we return from the snowmobiling adventure you’ll be able to enjoy the view from the comfort of the warm cabin and yurts before we head back to your hotel.

This tour is available as an optional upgrade to your regular Aurora Viewing tour at the AuroraCentre.

  • I flew to Whitehorse only for 1 night in the hope to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). It was a risk as they don't come out every night, but it paid off. At approx 3am the lights came out and it was spectacular.
