Operation Assistant, Lead Guide

Being exposed and going out in the wilderness is the passion of my life. As a child I grew up loving going to camp, climbing mountains, and many other outdoor activities, and it still has not changed one bit. I have gone travelling to over 30 countries and experienced all sorts of environment, hot to cold, tropical rainforest to tundra. I love the sensation of being out in the nature and being a part of it. I was very fascinated in nature all my life which lead me to study forest science and environmental systems in universities in Japan and Canada. I fell in love with Whitehorse the moment that I arrived here, an amazing place surrounded by natural wonders and full of adventures. I have lived in Yukon for 2 years now and I am still astonished at the vastness of the wilderness here. You can never run out of things to do in Yukon: hiking, canoeing, fishing, dog sledding, snowshoeing, ice fishing, stargazing, and the list goes on! Of course, one of the amazing wonders here is the northern lights. It is the most beautiful thing you will experience and will leave you completely in awe. I hope that you will have an unforgettable experience, and fully enjoy the time you spend here!
