On this tour you canoe down the historic Yukon River and enjoy the peaceful scenery. We paddle from Whitehorse to the confluence of the Takhini River. A great half day trip for beginner paddlers and a perfect way to enjoy this classic northern river.

On Friday I went snow shoeing around Miles Canyon. It was very nice to see the Yukon river under the snow.

I flew to Whitehorse only for 1 night in the hope to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). It was a risk as they don't come out every night, but it paid off. At approx 3am the lights came out and it was spectacular.
