Our full day sightseeing tour travels to the Takhini River area, just outside Whitehorse. Our first stop is at the Kennel, where you’ll learn about harnessing and hooking up your own team of Alaskan huskies before being whisked away in the sled basket on a wonderful trip on the trails along the Takhini River.

An ideal tour for those who just want a taste of dog sledding without embarking on an expedition, participants will then have the opportunity to drive their own team in comfort. It’s time to say good bye to the wonderful huskies, we’ll depart to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve where you’ll have the opportunity to view and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat. Dalls sheep, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, mule deer, wapiti (elk), woodland caribou, wood bison, musk-ox, moose and even lynx can all seen on this tour, usually up close! To cap of a great day, we’ll travel to the nearby Takhini Hotsprings. The outdoor hot springs pool provides a warm sanctuary amid the cold winter weather and is a must-do activity while visiting Whitehorse!

I really want people to know that your company IS THE BEST CHOICE for chasing the Aurora Borealis!!

Regine Chua

Aurora viewing was spectacular, there really aren't enough words to describe it. Guides are super friendly and tour groups are small, which is great.

Gabriela

This a Must trip if the Northern Lights are on your bucket list!

Thank you so much...

I went to Sweden 8 years ago, but I could not see aurora then and I have always wanted to see the beautiful aurora someday.

Yuriko Sakano

I flew to Whitehorse only for 1 night in the hope to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). It was a risk as they don't come out every night, but it paid off. At approx 3am the lights came out and it was spectacular.

Leese D

Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see the Northern Lights.
