Our full day sightseeing tour travels to the Takhini River area, just outside Whitehorse. Our first stop is at the Kennel, where you’ll learn about harnessing and hooking up a team of Alaskan huskies before being whisked away in the sled basket on a wonderful trip on the trails along the Takhini River. An ideal tour for those who just want a taste of dog sledding without embarking on an expedition, participants will then have the opportunity to drive their own team in comfort. It’s time to say good bye to the wonderful huskies, we’ll depart to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve where you’ll have the opportunity to view and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat. Dalls sheep, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, mule deer, wapiti (elk), woodland caribou, wood bison, musk-ox, moose and even lynx can all seen on this tour, usually up close! To cap of a great day, we’ll travel to the nearby Takhini Hotsprings. The outdoor hot springs pool provides a warm sanctuary amid the cold winter weather and is a must-do activity while visiting Whitehorse!

Your friendly smiles made us feel perfectly relieved, so we were relaxed and had a good time like we were with our close friends. We really enjoyed hearing about your life in Yukon―a lot of amazing stories!

Aurora viewing was spectacular, there really aren't enough words to describe it. Guides are super friendly and tour groups are small, which is great.

Gabriela

I just wanted to mention how much I enjoyed my trip. It was so well organised and hassle free.

Ashlee Burn

We enjoyed our Aurora viewing so much tonight that we’d like to go again.

Our primary purpose for this tour was to see Aurora. The activity of Aurora was strong at that time (end of August), ....
