As the world continues to take strong measures to fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus, our thoughts and wishes go out to those of you, your friends, and loved ones that may have been afflicted.

As with many of our hotel, airline, and attraction partners in the travel industry, the team at Arctic Range Adventure wants to ensure that we do everything we can to accommodate our customers who currently have tour reservations and are not able to travel to our location, as well as those planning travel for the winter season 2020-2021. To this end, we are relaxing our standard policies regarding booking cancellations and modifications.

Effective immediately, all Arctic Range Adventure tour customers with existing bookings for the winter season 2020-2021 will have the ability to change their reservation with no penalties.

If you choose to cancel, you will be issued a 100% store credit that can be redeemed towards the total price of a new reservation made within twelve months from the change date. Please note that Arctic Range Adventure tour customers that choose to change the reservation inside of the 15-day window before pick-up may be subject to hotel cancellation fees that we are not able to recover.

If you haven’t made your travel reservations for the winter season 2020-2021 yet, we want you to book with peace of mind knowing that the above policies will also apply to any new bookings until April 15th, 2021. COVID-19 Health & Safety 
Transportation Protocols

SAFETY IS OUR #1 PRIORITY

Arctic Range Adventure has developed these health/safety transportation protocols following Canada Health Service guidelines.  These standards have been developed to protect the health of both passengers and employees.

•    All drivers are required to wear assigned masks.
•    Passengers are required to wear a mask or cover their face while on board. No PPE or sanitizing equipment is required for passengers.
•    All vehicles have disinfectant wipes with 70% alcohol or EPA certified known products that kill the virus.
•    Hand sanitizer (65-95% alcohol) are in each vehicle.
•    All drivers wipe down door handles, seat backs, window controls, hard surfaces and seat belts after each passenger transfer with a disinfectant wipe wearing gloves.
•    Drivers have been advised to limit all physical contact or materials sharing between drivers and passengers where possible.
•    All printed and reading materials have been removed from vehicles.
•    The following physical distancing guidelines below are strongly suggested depending on vehicle capacities with passengers wearing facial covering:

SUVs
1 person unless traveling with partner/members of same household grouping

Vans
Twenty five to thirty percent (25-30%) capacity, 1 person per row, unless traveling with partners/members of same household grouping

Minibuses/Motorcoaches
Twenty five to fifty percent (25-50%) capacity, 1 person every other row, unless traveling with partners/members of same household grouping

•    All tour guides are required to wear assigned masks.
•    Guest are required to wear a mask or cover their face while indoors (yurt or tipi). No PPE or sanitizing equipment is required for guest.
•    The outdoor viewing area with seating benches is set up for expanded physical distancing.
•    All yurts have disinfectant wipes with 70% alcohol or EPA certified known products that kill the virus.
•    Hand sanitizer (65-95% alcohol) are in each yurt.
•    Door handles, seat backs, hard surfaces, counters and tables are wiped down with a disinfectant wipe wearing gloves after each tour.
•    Toilettes are cleaned and wiped down with disinfectant wipe wearing gloves after each tour.
•    Tour guides have been advised to limit all physical contact or materials sharing between tour guides and guest where possible.
•    All printed and reading materials have been removed from the AuroraCentre.
•    No snacks will be provided during the tour.
•    Hot drinks are available in one-way cups.
•    The following physical distancing guidelines below are strongly suggested depending on yurt/tipi capacities with guest wearing facial covering:

Tipis
Twenty five to fifty percent (25-50%) capacity, maintaining the required safe distancing, unless traveling with partners/members of same household grouping

Yurts
Twenty five to fifty percent (25-50%) capacity, maintaining the required safe distancing, unless traveling with partners/members of same household grouping

•    Toilettes are cleaned and wiped down with disinfectant wipe wearing gloves after each day.
•    All employees have been advised to limit all physical contact or materials sharing between employees and guest where possible.
•    All printed and reading materials have been removed from the guest area.
•    The following physical distancing guidelines below are strongly suggested with guest wearing facial covering:

Please note: The tour desk service at the Westmark Whitehorse has been suspended. Contact instructions will be posted at the tour desk. Guest will be able to call our office during opening hours for any assistant/service they require.

REntal Clothing Protocols

Valid from August 2020 to April 2021.

SAFETY IS OUR #1 PRIORITY

These health/safety protocols have been developed to protect the health of both guest and employees.

•    Storage shelves are regularly cleaned, disinfected and always kept free of unwashed garments.
•    All rental gear is washed and sanitized upon its return.
•    All machine-washable garments (jackets, snow pants, toques, glove liners) are washed in hot water with Laundry soap and Laundry Sanitizer.
•    After washing, all garments must be dried fully before getting put away or packed.
•    Carrying bags are emptied, vacuumed, wiped down, and sanitized inside and out.
•    Boots, boot liners, and leather mittens, are cleaned and sanitized inside & out and dried using our heated boot/mitt dryers.
