We’re looking for a Travel & Reservation Agent to join our team and help guests plan and book incredible experiences across the North. What You’ll Do
As a Travel & Reservation Agent, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our guests, helping turn their ideas into well-planned Arctic adventures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to guest inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable recommendations on tours, accommodations, transportation, and travel options
- Processing reservations, payments, cancellations, and itinerary changes accurately
- Building customized travel itineraries based on guest interests, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinating with internal teams, accommodation providers, transportation partners, and tour operators
- Maintaining accurate reservation and guest information
- Following up with guests before and after their experiences to ensure excellent service
- Helping identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through additional activities and services
- Staying informed about our destinations, tours, seasonal offerings, and travel conditions
- Supporting social media content, engagement, and online promotion of Arctic Range Adventure experiences
- Using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve customer communication, content creation, research, organization, and day-to-day efficiency
- Handling unexpected changes with professionalism, creativity, and a solutions-oriented attitude
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about travel, tourism, and creating memorable guest experiences
- Friendly, approachable, and genuinely enjoys helping people
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicating by phone, email, and in person
- Comfortable managing multiple reservations and priorities at once
- A proactive problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
- Social-media savvy, with an interest in creating engaging content and connecting with travelers online
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and other emerging technologies to work smarter, create content, research travel information, and improve guest experiences
- Curious and willing to learn new digital tools, platforms, and technologies
- Comfortable working with reservation systems and common computer applications
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Previous experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, reservations, social media, or customer service is an asset. Knowledge of Yukon, Alaska, or Northern Canada is also an advantage, but a passion for the North and a willingness to learn are just as important.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- At least 1 year of experience in similar role
- At least 6 months of experience in working in the tourism industry
- Fluency in English (second language is an asset)
- Some high school
AUTHORITY AND INDEPENDENCE:
- The Travel Agent has full authority delegated by the General Manager as per the requirements, duties and responsibility of the job.
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Work normal working hours but may be required to do some work in evening and/or on weekends.
- Work requires willingness to work nights and weekends.
SALARY:
- CAD 22.00-30.00/hour depending on skills, experience and qualifications
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office environment; Work is administrative in nature.
- The jobholder is not subject to work that is physically demanding and is generally not exposed to any hazards as a direct consequence of the job.
