Relax, unwind and soak up the peaceful ambiance of the Wellness at the Northern Lights Resort & SPA. Located just 20 minutes south of Whitehorse, this little piece of paradise is the Yukon´s newest getaway destination! Our 3 days/2 nights wellness package takes you to a hideaway located in a quiet open countryside close to the Yukon River, surrounded by pine forests and ringed by mountains. Built from massive Douglas Fir and to meet European standards by your German-Canadian hosts, the 3600 sq foot lodge features a luxurious great room for guest gathering, relaxing, breakfast and dinner use with a dramatic panoramic view of the Yukon River valley and the mountain range. Guests stay in the cosy guest room with large en-suite bathroom in the lodge or in a well-appointed 320 sq/ft. cottage featuring a large living/bedroom with fireplace, adjacent kitchen and en-suite bathroom. The spa / wellness area is located in the main building and features a finish sauna, steam sauna, whirlpool, rest room and a room for massage treatments.

The surroundings are perfect for relaxing in the guest lounge, the large deck or the privacy of your own cottage, enjoying the warm summers with clear blue skies and nearly 24 hours of sunshine and the spectacular views of the Northern Lights in winter. The open area surrounding the lodge allows un-obscured views of the soaring Aurora! Healthy European-style breakfasts and 3 course dinners are included in your stay.

Spend your days relaxing in the lodge in front of the fireplace. Go for a hike, fish one of the nearby lakes, snowshoe or cross-country ski on one of the numerous trails in the area. Enjoy the sauna or a customized massage treatment in our spa. Or simply relax in the outdoor hot tub on the large deck under the awesome northern sky.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to the lodge
Afternoon and evening are free for optional activities from the lodge. Take a walk, snowshoe or cross country ski the area trails, or simply relax in the comfort of your guest cottage, or cozy up to the fire in the guest area of the great room. Relax in our spa. Dine in the great room this evening.
Day 2: Breakfast at the lodge
Day is free for optional activities from the lodge. Go for a hike, fishing or wildlife viewing, relax in our spa. Or visit a nearby tour operator for an optional dog sledding or horseback riding tour. After a relaxed dinner at the lodge, its time to seek views of the stunning Midnight Sun or Northern Lights once again.
Day 3: Breakfast at the lodge
Transfer downtown or Whitehorse Airport. End of tour services.
